These plans are very detailed and easy to understand. Since codes and conditions vary so much between localities plans must always be reviewed by locally certified architect/engineer.

When I started this design I was surprised how it well it came together. It almost designed itself. I started with a mood. The kind of mood inspired by a soothing fountain as you step up to the door. That mood is carried right along as you enter the raised red tile entry and are greeted by your favorite house tree (maybe a fig tree). As you step down into the courtyard (livingroom) your spirits are lifted by the vaulted ceiling and you are welcomed by the peaceful rhythm of a trickling waterfall and pond.
The feeling of the outdoor courtyard is suggested by the red tile floor border yet warmth and comfort are not sacrificed because of the plush carpet center.The tile border surrounds the room and directs your attention to the beautifully sculptured traditional fireplace/woodstove surround. Then your mood is complete as you join your family in the spacious rotund kitchen/diningroom for fresh tamales.
